Size Guide – UK to Pakistani Dress Sizes
Pakistani and UK dress sizes are measured differently. Use this guide to find your perfect fit before ordering. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit.
How to Take Your Measurements
Use a soft measuring tape and measure over light clothing or underwear. Keep the tape snug but not tight. All measurements are in inches and centimetres.
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor. Do not pull the tape too tightly.
Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually just above the belly button. Breathe out naturally before measuring.
Hips
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, approximately 20–23 cm (8–9 inches) below your natural waist.
Garment Length (Height Guide)
Pakistani dresses are cut for a full-length silhouette. Garment length is measured from the back of the neck down to the hem. If you are petite (under 5'4" / 163 cm), the hem may need to be shortened. If you are taller (over 5'8" / 173 cm), consider sizing up for extra length.

Brand & Style-Specific Notes
- Embroidered & Formal Suits: These are often cut slim through the bust and shoulders. If your bust measurement falls near the top of a size range, size up.
- Ready-to-Wear (Pret) Dresses: Sizing tends to be more relaxed. Fit according to your waist measurement for the most accurate result.
- Bridal & Wedding Dresses: Bridal wear can run 1–2 sizes smaller than standard. Measure your full bust, waist, and hips and compare directly to the chart above. Allow extra time for any alterations.
- Festive & Eid Collections: Lengths are typically designed for heights of 5'4"–5'6" (163–168 cm). Taller customers (5'7"+) should consider ordering a custom length or a size up for additional length.
- Dupattas & Wraps: One size fits all. No adjustments needed.
